Spooktacular

By: Shelsy

Yesterday Ryan and I took Amber to SeaWorld's Halloween Spooktacular. They do it on weekends in October and they have trick-or-treating. They had it decorated with these really cute pumpkin fish and there were characters walking around and stalls handing out candy. It was really fun and super cute. There were so many little kids in costumes! They were all adorable. We had a great time pointing out all of their costumes. But none of them topped little Amber, of course. :-) She was wearing a painfully adorable ladybug costume her grandma very kindly made for her. And she got a LOT of attention. It was actually almost embarrassing how much attention she was getting. :-) Very nearly every person we walked by either pointed, smiled, made a comment, or actually stopped to tell us how cute she was. :-D

We had a really great time. We skipped the candy, but enjoyed just walking around taking pictures. It was great to have a place to go that was cute, not scary, and gave us an excuse to put her in a costume, since we're not going trick-or-treating around town. Here are some pictures of our day:

And for the first time ever, I got her to laugh more than once or twice in a row (or in a day..). So here's a super cute video of her laughing at me. I was pretending to have the hiccups, and she apparently thought it was hilarious. Enjoy!
